After several years supporting the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation, including attending the 2012 Laureus World Sport Awards in Rio de Janeiro, visiting Laureus projects in New York and Belfast, and hosting the ambassador announcement of football icon Ryan Giggs, Dan has officially been announced as a Laureus ambassador.

Working in 35 countries with more than 150 projects, Laureus Sport For Good harnesses the power of sport to create meaningful change in communities around the world.

“I’ve seen Laureus at work in several countries, and visited a number of projects, all of which demonstrate the incredible force of sport for good,” Dan said at the announcement. “To come on board as an ambassador is a great honour, and to be able to support the work that Laureus does is extremely exciting.”

Dan joins a celebrated group of ambassadors including Lennox Lewis, Tim Henman, Dame Kelly Holmes, Bryan Habana, Ralf Schumacher, Ruud Gullit and David Coulthard.
